Our Year 7 and 8 students have the opportunity to participate in a cultural exchange to China every other year. This program is designed to strengthen valuable relationships with our two sister schools, Nanmen and Xiyuan Xincun Primary School.
This exchange allows our students to experience Chinese culture firsthand, build international friendships, and broaden their understanding of the world. Our students are billeted with host families, mirroring the arrangement when Chinese students visit us. They will attend school alongside their host, sharing daily routines and forming genuine connections. Students travel and stay in pairs, providing companionship and support throughout their week-long stay. The trip includes visits to some of China's remarkable sights.
We have a strong connection with this exchange, having hosted students from China for the past three years. NSS families have the chance to billet these students in their homes for up to seven days when they visit us.
